Vivid Ink Merges with Phoenix-Based Printing Powerhouse Prisma

February 5, 2025

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Prisma announced today it has increased its national marketing logistics footprint to six total production facilities with the acquisition of Vivid Ink in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Prisma was attracted to Vivid’s expertise in large format and branded merchandise that will enhance Prisma’s current solutions in these areas. Vivid was attracted to Prisma because of its national presence, similar service culture, and advanced technology.

“Prisma leads with its technology,” said James Hill, Prisma’s CEO. “Our print production is driven by the automation, eCommerce, and programmatic technology solutions we offer our enterprise clients. This approach has been the catalyst for Prisma’s expansion; the company has grown from one location to six over the past six years.”

Prisma’s unique business solutions include its proprietary brand management software, dokshop, programmatic direct mail backed by HITRUST security compliance, and a robust print platform that includes offset, digital, and large format capabilities.  The addition of the two Vivid locations will double the company’s volumes in large format and branded merchandise and add custom decorating capabilities.

“Vivid is proud to join Prisma,” said Stephen St. Cyr, Vivid’s President. “Our team’s culture of service and client base align well with Prisma, and we are excited to come into the brand leading with our expertise in the QSR vertical among others. It’s a great fit.  Stephen and all the staff at Vivid are excited about this opportunity and are eager to continue the great customer service we are known for.  This acquisition is about giving Vivid the tools to better support our local and national customers.

Prisma was recently ranked #38 on the Top 300 Printing Companies by the trade publication Printing Impressions. This is a 26-spot jump from the previous year based on sales volume due to both acquisitions and organic growth.
